Project description
Suggested project proposal aims to commercialize the innovative platform Booker Tools intended for Property Managers in the world with the aim of providing them with all the necessary infrastructure to successfully fill their Property units.With this project, the applicant will set up new processes related to communication with existing and future franchisors, set up system support (Help desk) and strengthen its organizational capacity to be able to expand its business in the global market. During the two years of the project, the applicant will be staffed in terms of staff, organization and procedure in order to maintain the quality of its service and establish itself globally, despite the strong growth in the number of Properties and revenues.
The project included the following activities:
- Business process innovation for the purpose of commercializing the BookerTools franchise platform
- Innovation of business organization for the purpose of commercialization of BookerTools franchise platform
- Project management
- Promotion and visibility
Aims and expected results of the project
The specific aim of the project is to improve the innovation of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
Although the main aim of the implementation of the innovative platform is to expand the business of Direct Booker to new markets, the implementation of this project will indirectly affect:
a) increasing the level of information security at a broader level
b) increasing the use of ICT solutions by small Property Managers in areas that have not had a similar tourist offer so far
c) increase in exports
With this project, Direct Booker plans to adapt internal processes, procedures and business organization and introduce new organizational units (departments) and new organizational methods, in order to successfully commercialize its innovative solutions in the global market. Through the implementation of this project, Direct Booker will provide the staff and organizational basis for business expansion and the achievement of set aims, and the implementation of this project will result in a stronger presentation of innovation in the global market. Direct Booker’s business will be adapted to the introduction of new innovative products on offer and to the market, which will create quality preconditions for the successful commercialization of the products themselves.
As such, the project directly affects and is in line with investment priority 3d “Supporting the capacity of SMEs to engage in growth in regional, national and international markets and innovation processes” and specific objective 3d2 “Improved innovation of small and medium enterprises”.
Total project value and the amount co-financed by the EU (in HRK)
- The total value of the project is HRK 5,452,549.18
- The total value of the project (eligible costs) is HRK 4,937,427.18
- The EU share in project financing amounts to HRK 2,587,463.59
